Elevate your high school Performing Arts experience with Moonlight Choir.

Entering its 40th anniversary season in 2026-27, Moonlight Choir is the top choral ensemble at SFS, and is audition-only. This is also the ensemble from which the official APAC choir team is chosen that represents our school at the most prestigious scholastic choral event of the year. 

Our repertoire spans all musical genres and can be subdivided into intricate 8-part harmony. We hold ourselves to a high standard, with the expectation that singers meet at least once weekly in sections, practice independently for forward momentum in rehearsals, and ensure quality performances. 

Ultimately, Moonlight Choir is a family. It is hands-down the best stress reliever in a busy academic schedule and the most fun place on campus to create beautiful harmonies together with like-minded choir geeks.

Auditions will take place in the Choir room, Lyso Room 304.

CONCERTS

Moonlight Choir typically performs in 2  SFS concerts annually (Christmas Concert in December and a Spring Concert in March or April). 

We are occasionally asked to perform at community events such as conferences, opening ceremonies, assemblies, etc. throughout the year.
