HS APAC Dance

AUDITIONS

OVERVIEW

Due to various performance opportunities, we will attempt to have both an APAC Dance Team (selected) as well as a HS Dance Team (open). Everyone is asked to come out and audition if want to be on either team. The Apac team will practice three times a week and the HS team, once a week.

Seeking: 

Dancers willing to put in the hard work to grow as a performer.

Dancers who have an open mind to learn different styles.

Dancers who have "performance quality", character and personality on stage.

Teamwork oriented dancers without egos.

COMMITMENT! Not only to practices but to your moves as well.

All styles and genres welcome

Audition Format

 You will learn a dance combination(routine) on the spot then perform it in small groups. No need to prepare a solo/ presentation HOWEVER you may be asked to freestyle (improv) to showcase your abilities and potential. All past members and former MSDT members will be asked to improv/ freestyle.

REHEARSAL DATES

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY and FRIDAYS  from 5-7pm  until we travel in November.  Add-on/ brush-up rehearsals tend to happen a few weeks prior to festival at HKIS.

Season is done after festival at HKIS in November.
